FULLTIME: Ifeanyi Ubah FC 1 - 1 Kano Pillars

The most financially backed team in the Glo Premier League, Ifeanyi Ubah FC face the winners of the last three championships, Kano Pillars at the Ifeanyi Ubah international stadium, Nnewi, Anambra state.
The Nnewi based team lie 10th place, while the Northerners are currently 6th in a disappointing season, even by their own standards.
Solomon Eludi is unavailable for selection for the home-side but interim coach John Obuh – in charge of first team affairs after the resignation of Daniel Amokachi.
The Nnewi based team are targeting a continental place next season but find themselves two points behind the team they face on today September 20th.
Pillars have lost their last three away games while Ifeanyi Ubah have won their last three home games which sets-up a mouth-watering encounter.
The match kicks off at 4pm.

90′ SOOOOO much commotion on the pitch as players from both teams begin throwing punches. Bala Mohammed goes down after a foul and in an attempt to waste time stays on the ground even when the medics arrive. He is hurriedly carried out and the stretcher used to convey him gives way.

46′ Pillars kick off but IUFC quickly gain possession

42′ Yellow card for Elu for pulling back a pillars attack who robbed him of the ball. IUFC looking in all kinds of trouble now
38′ IUFC try another cutback from a freekick and this time Binoyo almost scores. Its just over the bar
36′ Freekick for IUFC just at the edge of the box. The cut back from Lukman Binoyo’s freekick is easily cleared.
34′ Fans begging IUFC to up the tempo of the game. Pillars making it look like a training session
32′ Pillars have another chance. Some nice one touch sees the Sau Gida free outside the box to shoot but the effort is just over
30′ Adamu Mohammed almost scores for Pillars again. Some nice footwork from the right sees a cross fall for Mohammed, he rises well but the keeper makes himself big. Chance gone begging
28′ This pillar’s defense is looking strong and it seems unlikely to be breached
25′  IUFC knocking on the door from all angles but the KP defense is looking strong. Pillars like they have a plan here.
23′ Pillars almost score again. Tony Ejimarigu’s cross is just too far for Adamu Mohammad to connect to. IUFC escape
21′ Ifeanyi Ubah also hit back immediately, some nice attacking play on the left sees Bright free but his attempt on goal is thwarted by the goalie who was close to him
20′ GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!! Adamu Mohammed puts pillars in front with the best of curlers you will see in a while
17′ Chibuzor Okonkwo of IUFC takes too much time on the ball and he is almost robbed, goalkeeper comes to his rescue\
